Micro-G Next

The Micro-G Next team is a NASA sponsored design competition. For this years competition, the team is working on a lunar contact sampling device, based on using spades to limit grain disruption. The purpose of the competition is to sample the very top layers of soil without altering the current grain geometry. If selected for the competition, the team will work to compete in the final competition at the Johnson Space Center in Houston during July.
